The Body as a Temple
The body learns the fire, too.
The body carries what the mind
cannot always name.
Stress. Grief. Survival. The ways we learn to disconnect from ourselves, control ourselves, criticize ourselves, or stop trusting what we feel.
The Body as a Temple is a space for exploring the relationship between our inner lives and the bodies that carry us through them — the nervous system, embodiment, body image, chronic illness, and the slow work of learning to listen to ourselves again.
Not another attempt to perfect the body.
A practice of returning to it.
This part of the Temple is still unfolding.
New reflections will be shared here when they are ready.
