About
Destiny De Los Santos
Founder, writer, astrologer, eternal student.
For a long time, I thought healing meant getting far enough away from the things that had hurt me that they could no longer reach me.
That if I became strong enough, self-aware enough, independent enough, I could build a life the fire couldn't touch.
Life had other plans.
The seasons that changed me most were the ones that burned through the identities, relationships, certainties, and versions of myself I thought I needed to hold onto.
And somewhere in the ashes, I began to understand that healing was never going to make me fireproof.
It was going to teach me to trust the woman who remained.
Temple of Embers was born from that realization.
You don’t have to
spend your life
terrified of
the fire.
Temple of Embers was born from the realization that changed the way I understood healing:
The goal was never to become fireproof.
So much of what we call healing can quietly become an attempt to make sure we are never hurt the same way again.
We become more careful. More controlled. More self-sufficient. We choose what feels safe over what we actually desire. We build lives around preventing the next fire.
But a life built entirely around fireproofing can become its own kind of cage.
I began to understand that healing wasn’t about guaranteeing the fire would never come again.
It was about trusting what would remain of me if it did.
The fire breaks open the life we knew. The ashes ask us to sit with what was lost. The embers reveal what is still alive and still true.
And from there, we rebuild—not by desperately reconstructing what burned, but by creating from what remains.
That is the philosophy Temple of Embers was built upon.
Astrology, writing, travel, and the body are different doorways into that same work: understanding what the fire revealed, remembering what remains, and learning to trust ourselves enough to build from it.
The Four Doorways
Different paths. One return.
Letters from
the Embers
Where I write honestly from the depths. The endings, identity deaths, grief, seasons that dismantle us, the moments that don’t make the highlight reel, and the lessons that arrive disguised as endings.
☾Letters from
the Stars
Astrology as a language of meaning, not prediction. A way to understand ourselves, the patterns we carry, and the path our soul is here to walk.
☼Where the
Embers Go
A record of the places that shape us. Because sometimes a city, a mountain, a retreat, or a quiet café reveals something we’ve been unable to see at home.
♡Body as
a Temple
Devoted to honoring the vessel that carries us through all of it. Not perfection. Presence.
I don't have all the answers.
I don't want to.
This space isn't built from certainty.
It's built from curiosity.
From reverence.
From the belief that a meaningful life isn't one untouched by fire, but one we trust ourselves enough to fully live anyway.
So wherever you find yourself today...
Welcome.
I'm grateful you're here.
